Because of the way the calendar falls plus it's Christmas time, there will be no club meeting next week beginning Monday 28th November and listed below is a schedule of our December club meetings with some amended dates:-Tuesday 6th December The White Hart 7.30 pm 1st Tuesday in the month Thursday 8th December * No club meeting Thursday 15th December* Christmas party (Instead of 2nd Thursday which is 8th December)Tuesday 20th December The White Hart 7.30pm 3rd Tuesday in the month Thursday 29th December* Last meeting of 2022 (Changed from 22/12) The Feathers 7.30pmBecause it's Christmas plus there is also our Christmas party to enjoy, some dates are changed (marked with a *) in order to spread them out so that we have one meeting per week - but we still meet 4 times in the month - as we try to do throughout the year. ... Well, what a busy ukulele week it has been for our club! On Wednesday we played a gig at Tibenham W. I. and had a ball with a very enthusiastic (and generous) audience. Thursday it was a usual club night at The Feathers, then today Friday we had a second gig this week, this time at the Fairland Hall in Wymondham with yet another (and again generous) audience who demanded many encores. An absolutely brilliant time was had by all!We still have three gigs to play in December but thanks to our generous hosts throughout 2022 we have already surpassed our £1000 collection target for our charity The Hamlet in Norwich. So it's a "well done" to 'The Gig Gang' (you know who you are!) for the hard work put in to learning new songs and for travelling throughout Norfolk to perform for our very appreciative audiences all through 2022. ...
