Message from Roy
‘Morning Wuggers
As I tentatively put a toe outside the back door and very quickly bring it back in, I note that the apparently warm sun that I can see through my window flatters to deceive me and it really is very cold outside – so the festive season is nearly upon us and who knows it might be a “White Christmas” if this freezing cold weather continues. Brrrrr!
Now down to business.
Our first gig for December is next Friday 1st December at Watton W.I. Christian Community Centre 57 High Street Watton IP25 6AB. Arrive at 6.30 to start playing our seasonal song list from 7.00 pm. Those down to play are:-
Alan H and Jan, Annette, Alan B and Ali, John, Julie, Nye and Rose, Richard, Roy G, Roy H, Rumpole, Sarah and Steve. If anyone wants a lift to the venue please check your email and contact me on the email address or mobile number I have sent you.
The venue is on the left of the High Street just before the Dragonfly Gallery – where I believe we can also park if the venue car park is full.
Please download or print out the revised version of ‘When Somebody Thinks You’re Wonderful’ with all the verses to play at the gig.

The next important date (some might say THE most important date) in our crowded December calendar, is of course our Christmas Party to be held on Tuesday December 5th at the Green Dragon 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm with buffet. The cost is £10. We still have some vacant slots for any brave souls who would like to perform a solo. Alan H is organising this particular part of the evening, please give/send your name to him asap. Nicola is in charge of taking names and money for the party so if you have not put your name down yet (with money) then please get in touch with Nicola so that she can give numbers to the pub for catering purposes.
